Course: Taskbox – An industry centric design project

Mentor: Raunaq Arora
Brief: Design new product collections for Pink Planks across grass-weaves, glassware, furniture and homestyle accessories.
We began by researching Pink Plank's competitive brands and the things they produce. Then noted the words connected to Pink. We decided on the flamingo and Pink Quartz as our theme, created a mood-board with it, and researched its background in history and mythology. The color palette was taken from the real imaginaries.

As Rose Quartz is a crystal, so to show its texture we tried using Shibori technique. And to add the essence of Flamingos we have used its colour palatte.
The name 'shibori' is derived from the Japanese word “shiboru” meaning to wring, squeeze or press manually which produces a number of different patterns on fabric
