Bandhini

Course: Making-2

Mentor: Zosang Puii

Brief: Choose an designer who inspire us and who has done work with the surfaces and one element which relate to that artist's work , that can be anything- object, technique, etc.

Concept: "Capturing Bandhini's Essence Through Woven Creations." In this project, I draw inspiration from the captivating art of Bandhini to infuse its essence into woven textiles. Bandhini, a traditional Indian tie-dye technique, becomes the muse for my creative exploration. Through intricate weaving, I seek to translate the charm and intricate patterns of Bandhini onto fabric, paying homage to its cultural roots while pushing the boundaries of contemporary textile art.
